Who We Are

Set Apart is a non-profit and independent speech and debate club. Our club is open to all families that are, or are eligible to become, members of the Stoa forensics league. The Stoa league affords students aged 12-18 the opportunity to compete in local and nationwide tournament events.

Please see the Stoa website for eligibility, or contact us!

Our Vision

The vision of Set Apart is to teach our children to implement the practical application of God’s teaching on wisdom, while providing an opportunity for parents to apply and model God’s instruction. (Colossians 1:9-12)

By participating in competitive forensics, our students will develop the skills necessary to articulate and defend the truth of Biblical Christianity. Club and competition together offer an environment whereby students and parents learn critical thinking skills and competence in delivery, where their message will be significant and impactful to their audience. While fostering a teachable spirit and humility, our heart’s desire is for our students to learn to live for God’s glory.
